School Council

This is a note from our School Council for the academic year 2025-2026.

Congratulations to all of them for being elected by their classes!  

I’m Llyr, the Chairperson of Dolbadarn School Council, Nel is Vice-Chairperson, Greta is the Secretary and Iago is the Vice-Secretary.  These are the main duties of School Council members. 

• There will be an agenda (points to discuss) at every meeting. 
• The duty of each class representative is to discuss and collect the ideas of the class and then share them at the next School Council meeting. 
• We write a record of each meeting and draw up actions. 
• Each member has a vote. 

Our priorities and actions for next year are:

• Relating more with the community e.g. holding activities and inviting members of the community to the school's activities
• Raising money for charities
• Helping staff to develop an understanding of KiVa with everyone (a program about bullying)
• Solving the problem of the balls on the yard going over the fence - facilitate games and sports lessons
