Safeguarding

Ysgol Dolbadarn completely acknowledges it’s contribution to child protection. There are three elements to our policy:  

• prevention through educational and pastoral support for pupils  
• systems to record and report cases, or possible cases, of abuse. Due to our day to day contact with children, school staff are ideally placed to see external signs of abuse,  
• support pupils who may have been abused in the past.  

Our policy applies to all school staff members, governors and volunteers.

Our school will review policies annually and we’re committed to following any new guidance.
