Following a request from the parents themselves, the school has an official uniform. Changing for physical exercise lessons is an important part of a child’s education. We will let you know about a day/days where your child will have PE lessons. Shorts and a t-shirt will be required for these lessons in summer, and a tracksuit in winter. Children will exercise barefoot in the hall, but a child with a skin condition can wear light pumps. In summer, lessons will be held on the yard, and pumps or trainers will be needed during this term. Old trainers or football boots can be worn to go on the village field (Junior Department only).
If a pupil wishes to be excused from PE lessons for medical reasons, he or she must have a note from a parent (for a temporary request) or a medical certificate (for an extended period or permanently).
If a child often forgets his or her PE kit, the school will contact you to remind you of the timetable.
This solves many instances where clothing goes missing or is left in school. Many companies sell useful stickers, e.g., Personalised School Uniform Labels | Stikins ®
